Glo Mask

Hey Everyone!

As promised, Mondays are our days to share! Everyone, both guys and girls want good, acne-free, clean skin. Recently and this summer in particular, GLOWING skin is a thing! (especially for my melanin readers lol). So, I did some research and thought I'd try this mask to brighten and rejuvenate the skin tone! (and yes, it worked). It's very simple! Hope you try it! The instructions are below, with photographs to show each stage of the process.

Ingredients! Aloe Vera and Papaya

Step 1:

Remove the seeds from the papaya and remove the skin.

Wash the aloe vera leaf, and use a knife to remove the spikes and skin, leaving the gel.

Step 2:

Cut the Aloe Vera Gel and Papaya into small pieces with a sharp knife.

Step 3:

Using a fork, mash the aloe and papaya even further to make a mask-like consistency.

Ps. I was thinking of using a food processor or blender but I didn't want it to be too wet. Afterall it's a mask not drink

Step 4:

Wash your face with warm water and apply mixture to your face.

(use it all up! don't waste your food)

Step 5:

Leave on face for at least 15 minutes!

Ps. I'm closing my eyes because some of that got in my eyes (BAD IDEA)

Step 6:

Rinse face with warm water

Then rinse face with cold water

Pat dry with a towel

LOOK AT THE GLO! I used the excess on my neck and shoulders (which have been giving me a hard time)

This was a great idea! Aloe is perfect for the skin in every way, shape and form. It's very good for scars, acne, cuts, razor bumps! Papaya is great for the glow (look at its colour), helps to moisturize the skin and repair damaged skin like aloe vera with MANY OTHER benefits!

Thanks SO MUCH for reading! I hope you enjoy your week and this post! Let me know what you think about this post and OFCOURSE..TRY IT!
