This weekend I did some serious math! What do you get when you add Lee's Fifth Avenue, 50th Anniversary, Loyal Customers, Bloggers, Food, Cocktails, Live Band, DJ, Discounts, Models and a Fashion Show? You get an amazing experience from a well executed event! On Sunday, 6th December, Lee's Fifth Avenue hosted their 50th Anniversary Customer Appreciation Show at their Tropical Plaza location as patrons were invited to "Eat, Sip, Party and Shop!" and that they did! Here are some of my favourite moments!
The night began with a cocktail hour (or two) in which patrons were invited to sip and eat courtesy of Patsy Lyn Catering and SHOP! The concept of the event was particularly interesting and commendable because the store did not forget their LOYAL CUSTOMERS in addition to various stakeholders from the media, business world and the fashion world. These are people upon which the business strives and what better way to celebrate 50 years than with Customer Appreciation?
The DJ for the event, ZJ Sparks provided great entertainment giving away numerous gift vouchers and coupons and announcing that there was 25% store wide sale! Yup! 25%! While patrons shopped, sipping red wine and listening to the energetic mixes of ZJ Sparks, there were also make-up demonstrations by the EC Make-Up Bar which is an in-store make up shop! They also had giveaways!
After all the fanfare of sales galore, we sat down to view the Fashion Show! .....and waited ...for a while! (it was worth the wait to be honest) and while we waited we were entertained by ZJ Sparks who gave away more gift vouchers! Some patrons took the opportunity to do further shopping while others ate and drank wine. But, let me tell you! When that fashion show started.....we were not ready! It was GREAT! The fashion show displayed looks which could be found in the store modeled by Miss Universe Jamaica(s) and Models: Yendi Phillips and Kerrie Baylis as well as Saint International Models. We were also entertained by SkyGrass Band! Here are some highights from the Fashion Show with some of my favourite looks!
Many of the female looks would be great for Christmas or New Years Parties! I loved the styling especially for a retail store. It didn't lack sophistication and class. The male looks were also very good and wearable and appealing to the audience. Overall it was a GREAT event which was well executed! Cheers to 50!
